I Love You

I get hypnotized, in your tortuous eyes
And the gaze, they bend my heart from inside.
The delicate armor placed at my skin, whose shield cannot hold and I can’t pretend
Your breaking in, I want you in, and just to feel the trace of your skin…
These misty skies give me more time to soak you in and hold you tight
The raindrops scatter about your face, a shimmering color I want to embrace
Or maybe a taste of that soft memories sense, leaks into my brain, cleanses, and rinse.
I’m griping you tense under your protecting frame, I’m composing myself so I can stay sane
You caress me close with a shivering feel, if you were an object you’re one I would steal
Adding more fuel to this iridescent flame, I let you in and I take your pain
And then I give you mine and all that comes with it, every thought in my brain overpowers the bullshit
I’m slipping under your dark veil, I refuse to come up, I’d enthrall you forever if it were enough.
